James T. Madry, Jr Scholarship

The James T. Madry, Jr Foundation is proud to present the James T. Madry, Jr Scholarship. Two scholarships (One Academic and One Music/Arts Scholarship) will be awarded to full-time students (12 or more credit hours) who have been accepted to an accredited four-year college, university, or equivalent (Trade school, for example).

Applicants can be current high school seniors entering college in the fall or students currently attending a college or university. 
All scholarship will be paid directly to the institution of higher learning. Everyone who meets the requirements below is invited to apply.

Scholarship recipients will receive notice of their award by December 24th of the school year prior to when the scholarship will commence. 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of a 2.0.

  • Applicants must provide official transcripts.

  • Provide three typed letters of recommendation; one from a peer and two from professional figures (Employer, Teacher, etc.) giving a genuine assessment of your skills and achievements.

  • Completely fill out application forms; all application forms must be typed out and signed.

  • Applicants must complete the Scholar Questionnaire. It must be typed in Times New Romans, Double Spaced, 12pt Font.

  • Applicants must provide copies of college acceptance letters.

In addition for all applicants applying for the music scholarship:

  • Applicants must complete and sign the music and theater application in addition to the application forms that is typed out.

  • Applicants must provide an audition video showcasing your talent. This audition video must be mailed on a flash drive or DVD. In your audition video you must introduce yourself, state your talent, state the name of the piece you are preforming, and a 3-5 minute display of your talent.

Federal Student Aid is responsible for managing the student financial assistance programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. These programs provide grants, loans, and work-study funds to students attending college or career school. 

ACT and SAT

Online Registration is the fastest method for ACT testing. You will know immediately if your preferred test center has space for you to test, and you also can print your admission ticket from the website.
